You are the captain. Before departure, our team explains how the boat easily works, you will be shown which routes you can follow, and you will be told all the main rules for boating in Amsterdam.
Our boats are incredibly easy to steer with a steering wheel, even if you have no previous boating experience. You also receive a route map before departure. The captain must be at least 18 years old.
The location in Amsterdam East is: Westerdoksdijk 705, 1013 BX Amsterdam. It is a 15-minute walk from Amsterdam Central Station and easily accessible by public transport, bike, or car (paid parking available). Please note: you pick up the boat at the same place where you return it.

The boats from Westerdoksdijk can accommodate between 1 and 8 people. You hire the entire boat for your own group.
The hourly rate is €50 per hour and the minimum hire period is 2 hours. This gives you plenty of time to set off at a leisurely pace and follow a lovely route through Amsterdam’s canals.
VAT and tourist tax (€2.70) included. Service charges excluded..
The boats at the Westerdoksdijk location have a steering wheel but are slightly different from the boats at other locations. The interior of the boat is finished with aluminum, as opposed to the white finish on the other boats.

The quiz is available in two versions: one for children and one for adults, with a difference in difficulty level. When booking, you can indicate how many people will participate so that everyone gets their own quiz sheet.

Are you going to sail on the canals? Then read the sailing rules carefully first. The sailing rules must always be followed. These are strictly enforced by the municipality of Amsterdam.
It is prohibited to play loud music on the boat. If you do not comply with this, the enforcement officers may confiscate your equipment and issue a fine. So, comply with this to avoid this.
One boating rule that always applies is that priority must be given to longer boats. So if you see a boat that is longer than yours, always give it priority. Also, always give priority to commercial vessels such as tour boats.
